    Description

    This auction is for a very old and unusual sewing pin cushion that holds 8 thimbles and could hold 8 small spools of thread. The pin cushion is in very good condition. One silver thimble has a flower? design on the outside.  Three silver thimbles are marked 8, one thimble is marked John Hancock Mutual Life Boston, one thimble did has red paint around the bottom.  One gold thimble has a diamond design around the bottom and someone's initials and the other gold thimble is marked 9 with a V design around the bottom.  All thimbles are in very good condition for their age'
