Antique Porcelain Half Doll, Collectible Pincushion Doll, Unmarked Germany

This listing is for an antique Half doll.
A rare and unusual half doll that you don't see often.
It is unmarked Germany.
References can be found in Volume 7 of The Half Doll by Shona & Marc Lorrin. Page 196 Figure 7-994. They supply only a photo and not much information but it is referenced.
I am not positive of the maker but it has been suggested to me by several antique dealers as well as collectors that it most likely was manufactured by Carl Schneider and painted by artist Karl Unger.
Circa 1910-1920
This half doll is in excellent condition with NO chips, cracks or repairs.
She comes from my private collection and has been kept in a curio cabinet in a smoke free environment.
She is a medium size half doll and is just 3 inches.
This is an exceptional and beautiful antique piece. The painting on her is done by a very skilled artist.
The overall piece is remarkable and the sculpted detailing of her arms and bodice is exceptional.
She is an "arms away- returning" style half doll .
The detailing on her low cut bodice is extraordinary. It gives the illusion of flowing or draping fabric. Please see the photos as they tell the story much better than I.
She has been hand painted but a very skilled artisan. Her bodice has been painted a deep purple with teal straps.
She has her hands placed behind her head as if lying on her back gazing up at the stars.
She has long wispy curls that frame her lovely face and she has sultry brown eyes.
I had two of these in my collection. The other one which has sold was a peacock green with purple straps. Please view photos 8 & 9.

NOTE: Photos 8 & 9 show the other half doll of this same mold but in different colors. I finished that half doll into a pincushion/boudoir doll for a customer. The very last photo shows other dolls which I have for sale.
These are NOT included in this listing.  They are shown so that you may see other items that I have in my store and ideas on how this lovely half doll can be transformed into an heirloom pincushion doll.
