You are bidding this used complete rear axle assembly that I believe fits an Austin Seven of the 30's.
I am not positive about this application however.
These parts are well before my time and I do not have any books or resources that go back that far.
I believe this is an Austin Seven because its one of the only cars that I am aware of that uses a 3 bolt lug pattern wheel.
I will update the listing if I get any more information I can verify.
This setup is used and looks to be in good shape.
The condition this rear axle assembly is in is the same condition that it came to me.
The gears and axles all turn and seem to be fairly tight.
I have not cracked the axle open to see what the condition of the gears are in.
When the pinion flange is turned both axles move.
There is not much of any play in the diif and the outer bearings seem to be in good shape as well.
There is a thick layer of grease that will need to be cleaned up.
This would be a great setup to cleanup and rebuild or just use for spare parts.
I am pretty sure that none of this stuff is available any more since these parts are pushing 90 years old.
