As far as I can tell this translates to:
"Soon the very illustrous company of the black cat
with
his shadows, his poets, and his
composers
Rodolphe Salis"
I'm pretty sure I really screwed that up!  lol
I ADORE vintage tin advertising signs! (this one measures 7/8" by 1.25")

French for "The Black Cat") was a nineteenth-century entertainment establishment, in the bohemian Montmartre in Paris France. Customers would sit at tables in the little
cabaret, drink spirits and be entertained by "The Troupe"
Even though these aren't really tin, they totally look the part!
As near as I can tell this translates to:
I decided to re-create some for your dollhouse!
Each sign is mounted onto a tiny piece of hand cut background, that I have sanded and painted in preparation for the lovely little print!
I mounted the quality print, using collage medium and then coated them with another 3 coats of matte varnish (back and front) to simulate the "grown up" tin ones!
Any so called "imperfections" are intentional and there to simulate the antique ones we adore so much!
Perfect for your dollhouse or shoppe!
