Replica of an iconic series of travel posters that were created to promote travel on Chicago's South Shore Line in the 1920's.  The real life ones are highly prized by collectors.  Original designed by Hazel Urgelles.  Depicts a sitting bathing beauty on the shore of Lake Michigan with a colorful umbrella.  Writing at the top reads "THE DUNES BEACHES" and below "BY THE SOUTH SHORE LINE TRAINS FROM CHICAGO OPERATED BY ILLINOIS CENTRAL R.R.FROM RANDOLPH & VAN BUREN"  Print is on paper mounted to a thicker cardboard.  Colors are nice and vivid.
    Measures 2 3/8" x 3 1/2".
Signed "TISH-KA-BOB 1989".    I don't know who this artist is (or was).

The U.S. Postal Service is experiencing MAJOR PROBLEMS with delivery due to Covid and other issues that set them behind  last year.  They are improving but SOME packages are still  taking up to four WEEKS to be delivered (not many but just want to warn you that it COULD happen).   If you can't commit to possibly having to wait up to FOUR WEEKS for delivery, please don't bid.  If item is not delivered in that time period you will be refunded.  I am offering UPS as an alternative but please be advised that UPS rates are sometimes more than double those of USPS. and even they are experiencing some delivery problems :o(
