removed (from service at hospital/clinics) or corrected as of February 5,  2021. The exchange unit is guaranteed to be 100% OEM Philips functioning to Philips factory specifications, absolutely compliant with all the existing medical device regulations internationally and comes with overall 2 Year warranty as well as LIFETIME warranty on crystal bonding.  Please note that this listing is for EXCHANGE - Original transducer will be shipped only after receiving non compliant (non OEM) but physically intact transducer is first received

Please follow the below mentioned steps as terms & conditions to make the purchase after completion of step # 6.
1. Check that the 'Philips M2736A' transducer that you have is in fact a physically intact unit repaired/refurbished/re-manufactured by a third party company using non-Philips replacement parts. It can be
ascertained
by physical comparison with a brand new Philips transducer, taking look at photos of non-Philips parts posted in this listing and hospital records such as work order history from asset data, receiving/purchasing department's PO data, vendor's quotation with OEM quality assurance, invoices, delivery note and shipment documentation.
Original Philips transducer has very distinctive look with Philips factory label printed on Bottom Plastic case, Lot No. on Connector, Top Plastic case has 'Philips' name logo as seen in first 4 photographs, 5th and 6th photographs show a single original genuine transducer on left and non Philips transducers on right. Subsequent photographs illustrate various type of non OEM transducers with distinctive non Philips connectors.
2. Send the 'non OEM' Philips M2736A transducer to Philips factory for testing and certification. (You can skip step 2, 3, 4 if your clinical experts/hospital biomed technicians are convinced that you have a substandard quality transducer with non Philips parts with repeated failures, intermittent problems delivering unreliable clinical throughput as well as your asset data corelates purchasing data that the failure rate or down time is extremely high. Just make a report on hospital letterhead explaining how the Non OEM transducer with a particular serial number is functionally substandard compared to OEM transducer, how it is not not delivering reliable clinical throughput and have it signed by the clinical in-charge.)
3. If Philips certifies the M2736A transducer unit (with non-Philips parts) to be absolutely compliant with their specifications then you have no worries to continue using it and there is no need to purchase this listing.
4. If the transducer M2736A unit fails Philips factory test for functional compliance to OEM specs, contact your vendor and see if you get replacement or corrective action taken as per your original purchase order to the vendor or a quotation from the vendor for a ISO/Dual ISO grade service being claimed to be compliant to OEM specifications. This particular unit may be under FDA recall #
Z-1167-2020 and it would be worth while to check with the pertinent vendor/manufacturer if they have come up with any solution as of or after February 5, 2021 in order to make all those units absolutely compliant and hence reliable for clinical use.
5. If your Philips M2736A transducer unit with non Philips parts, is neither certified for functional compliance to OEM specs by Philips factory, nor your vendor has any solution to keep your hospital/clinic compliant, then you may choose to have it exchanged with 100% OEM Philips transducer with far superior terms as compared to buying a brand new Philips transducer and save a significant amount. Please send us an ebay message with 2 photographs of your non OEM transducer showing both faces (refer our OEM unit's Photos) and a copy of a testing report issued by Philips factory (if you got it tested) or a certificate on hospital/clinic's letter-head signed by the clinical in-charge as mentioned in step # 2. This is to ensure that the the particular transducer the hospital/clinic requires to be replaced, is indeed a repaired/refurbished/re-manufactured transducer unit with non Philips parts and does not deliver reliable clinical throughput as compared to 100% genuine OEM transducer.
6. We will provide you EGA (Exchange Goods Authorization) # so that you can go ahead and complete the purchase of this ebay listing.
7. Ship your non Philips transducer with a copy of Philips testing report or hospital's report signed by clinical in-chare, EGA # and let us know the shipment tracking number through ebay message system.
8. Once the online tracking of your shipment shows that the package is with the carrier, we will ship the OEM exchange unit within 1 working day to a verified address that belongs to your licensed medical facility (clinic, hospital, medical school, nursing school, licensed mid-wife, birth center).
