    Description

    My husband and I have owned and restored over 1000 vintage Singer sewing machines, and along the way we have accumulated a stock of vintage Singer parts. The parts aren’t doing anyone any good sitting in our workshop, so we have decided to send them on to where they’re needed.
    We haven’t seen a Singer thread take-up lever wear out, but we have seen some that were broken or bent in a fall, and others with ugly pitted or peeling chrome. Fortunately, this is a very simple assembly to replace.
    If you have good eyes you may be able to make out “SIMANCO” stamped into the steel. That stands for “SInger MANufacturing COmpany,” and these are genuine vintage Singer parts. They have been cleaned and are ready to be installed. Please make sure to oil all of the bearing surfaces (places where pieces of metal touch) when you install it
